He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Edwin I and Josephine Voss. He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his children, Jeanette (Abiodun Oladimeji), Leanne (David Cailles), Alfred Edwin II and Maureen (Thomas Hopman); his grandchildren, Rose, Naomi, Owen Oladimeji, Matthew, Alexander, Violette Cailles, Declan and Greenlee Hopman; his brothers, Gregory (Sharon) and Martin Voss (Cynthia); and his siblings-in-law, Mickey, Kathy Payne, Patricia and W. Don Jolley.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014).
