He was predeceased by : his parents, John Cairns and Wendella Cairns (Dammein); his wife Martha Nicholls; and his siblings, Henry Cairns (Pat), John Cairns Jr. (Marilyn), Betty Bottlemy (Elmer) and Martha Betts (Bob).
He is survived by : his children, Michael Cairns (Melissa), Brian Cairns (Karalyn) and Teresa Meekins (Randy); his grandchildren, Brady Cairns and Delaney Cairns; and his brother Marvin Cairns (Nancy).
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney Funeral Home (1211 N Seminary Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
