He is survived by: his children, Luis Mendoza, Leidi Soto (Manny), Juana Mendoza, Sergio Mendoza and Odalis Mendoza; and his grandsons, George Luis Mireles, Manuel Soto IV and Ezekiel Soto. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney Funeral Home (1211 N Seminary Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (312 Lincoln Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098).
