He is survived by: his daughter Diana Marie Gears of Worden, IL; his stepdaughter Sheri Roberts of Mt. Vernon, IL; his nephews, Michael D. Gunkel (Ginger Morgan) of Toledo, OH and Darrin K. Gunkel (Karen Hedlund) of Portland, OR; and his cousins, Fred Radae (Brenda) of Worden, IL and Alex Radae of Bunker Hill, IL..
