She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joseph and Evelyn Elaine Meizelis (LeMasters); her former spouse Dale Boyce; her husband Walter Bregowy; and her daughters, Sharon and Deborah Boyce.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Berkey of New Lenox, Janet Lalas of Worth and Rebecca Boyce of Henderson, NV; and her grandchildren, Theresa Berkey (David Smith) of New Lenox, David Berkey of Mokena, Kristina McKinney (Austin) of Palos Hills, Michael of Palos Hills, Matt Lalas of Palos Hills, Nicole of Henderson, NV and Tiffany Davis of Henderson, NV. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home- Springfield (900 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Aloysius Catholic Church (2000 E Sangamon Ave, Springfield, IL 62702).
