We announce the death of Veronica Lee Moon of Wyanet, Illinois, who passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford B. Grant and Rachel Grant (Wildermuth); and her siblings, Carol Hasbrook, Zerretta Swanson, Norine Hasbrook, Orville Grant, Dwayne Grant, Phillip Grant and Cary Grant.

She is survived by: her husband Paul Moon of Wyanet; her sons, Jeffrey Moon (Peggy) of Wyanet, Bryan Moon (Carla) of Wyanet and Matthew Moon of Wyanet; and her grandchildren, Whitney Warkins (Noel), Breanna Woolley (Tyler), Luke Moon, Nathan Moon, Josh Moon, Monica McCleary (Matt), Justin Moon, Ashley Poruba, Bobbi Cain Poruba and Chad Poruba. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
