He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chesser and Rosetta Chesser (Sargeant); his wife Marilyn Chesser (Powell); and his siblings, Harvey, Harry Chesser, Norma Willams and Yvette Kemp.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Chesser (Chris) of Bradford, Robert Chesser (Karla) of Edelstein and Christine King of Wyoming; his sister Bonnie Delabar of Toulon; his brother-in-law Gary Powell of St. Paul, MN; and his son-in-law Rodney King. He is also survived by four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
