She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald D. and Mary E. Berchtold (Wiesenhofer); her husband Bernard P. "Barney" Vilatte; and her brother Gary Berchtold. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Sue Donald (George) of Galesburg; her grandchildren, Johnathon Bernard Donald of Las Vegas and Jorgiana Paulette Donald of Galesburg; and her siblings, Bonnie Magnussen (Joe) of Wyoming and Daniel Berchtold (Donetta) of Wyoming. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the passions of her granddaughters: the A.R.K in Lacon, or the Galesburg Jr./Sr. High Marching Streaks.
