He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Lloyd and Theda Allene Busby (Jones); his wife Tina Louise Rinehart; his son Tyler Busby; his siblings, Phyllis West, David and Donnie Busby; his parents-in-law, Robert Rinehart Sr. and Rita Stickel; his grandparents, Opal, Minnie Jones, Frank and Alice Busby; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Rinehart Jr. and Kathleen McConnell.
He is survived by: his children, Amber Busby of Peoria and Josh Busby of Indiana; his grandchildren, Ethan Busby of Peoria, Courtney of Indiana and Lila DePriest of Indiana; his daughter-in-law Jen DePriest of Indiana; his sisters, Judy Mannella (Junior) of St. Charles and Janet Watson of Xenia; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Pope of Aurora, Connie Busby of Sycamore, Charles West of Xenia, Daniel Rinehart of Cadiz, James Rinehart of Cedar Rapids and John Rinehart of Coralville, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oddfellows Cemetery (297 West St, Xenia, IL 62899). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with expenses, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
