It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Don Allen of Xenia, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 75, on December 3, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Leonard and Pauline Ethel Allen (Thompson); his daughter Sara Beth Allen; and his nephews, DeWayne Allen and John Allen Kemper II.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Allen; his children, Matthew Ryan Allen, Aaron Allen and Rebecca Allen-Odle (Seth); his grandchildren, Sara Beth Odle and Paul Allen Odle; and his brother Darrell Allen (Janet). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak Mound Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home (500 N Main St, Flora, IL 62839).
Memorial donations are suggested the donor's choice of an education fund for the benefit of his grandchildren, the Songer Township cemetery fund, or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and any of these will be accepted through the funeral home.
