He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. E. D. Rogers and Elizabeth Rogers; his wife Lela Rogers; and his close friend George Smith. He is survived by: his son Dan Rogers (Amanda) of Nashville, Tennessee; his brother Donald (Shirley) of Sullivan, Illinois; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Smith of Xenia and Gail Lewis of Iuka.
