He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Merrit and Billy Gene Bender (Alcorn). He is survived by: his daughter Kristin Nicole Mullenix of Louisville; and his aunt Collene Bail of Champaign.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family to assist with final expenses, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
