He is survived by: his sons, Frederick Lee "Lee" Ayers (Michelle) of Racine, Nathan Howard Ayers (Rebecca) of Rock and Adam Ayers Bansley of Wisconsin; his siblings, Thomas "Tom" H. Ayers of Xenia, MaryKay Branch of Xenia and John D. Waggoner (Jean M.) of Lawrenceville, Georgia; his nieces and nephews, Jason Waggoner (Emily) of Lawrenceville, Beth Hagens (Joel) of Tamarac, Joel Waggoner (Kathy) of Lawrenceville, Joseph Waggoner (Becca) of Wyncote, Katherine Ayers of Xenia and Crystal Dolan (Tim) of Crystal Lake; his cousin Ruth Duffina (Draper) of Fairfield; and his aunt Susan Paden of Old Washington, Ohio.. He is also survived by 22 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Rather than purchasing flowers or other gift items, the family suggests the most meaningful way to honor Rick's memory is through a donation to the Xenia Fire Department.
