She was predeceased by: her mother Catherine Elizabeth Buckner (McReaken); her sister Karen Taylor; her brother-in-law Taylor; and her father Earl Buckner. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Birch; her son Jessie Birch; her sister Karla Jones (Randy) of Blue Ridge, TX; her nephews, Travis Jones (Paige) of Austin, TX, Garrett Jones (Ali) of Broken Arrow, OK, Jeremy Taylor (Jennifer) of Mattoon, IL and Allen Taylor of Hidalgo, IL; her niece Liz Will (Ryan) of Oblong, Illinois; her brothers-in-law, John Birch (Laura) of Newton, IL and Mike Birch (Sandy) of Newton, IL; and her nieces and nephews, Tiffany Will (Curtis) of Newton, IL, Garrett Birch (Meredith) of Newton, IL, Taryn Wolf (Torrey) of Newton, IL, Mitchell Birch, Erin Stanford of Effingham, IL and Claire Creech (Alex) of Maryland Heights, MO.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Barkley Funeral Chapel (300 N Kentucky St, Greenup, IL 62428). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
