She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Purkey and Hattie Purkey; her husband Ronald Olson; her former husband Fritz Dubis; and her siblings, Rodney Purkey and Ruth Lindberg.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Sowers (Tom), Bonnie Mundinger, Brett Olson (Kim), Dawn Wigstone (Rich) and Randy Olson (Carol Adams). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory -Sandwich (1275 S County Line Rd, Sandwich, IL 60548). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (1275 S County Line Rd, Sandwich, IL 60548).
