He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Anita; his daughter Annaliese; his father Charles "Bud" Smagor; his parents-in-law, Edelgard and Friedrich Weingartner; his sister Shari Vasko (Scott); his sister-in-law Elizabeth Greifenkamp (Jay); and his sibling's children, Justin, Veronica, Kayla, Sydney and Jonah.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Church of Oak Brook (501 Oak Brook Rd, Oak Brook, IL 60523). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Church (501 Oak Brook Rd, Oak Brook, IL 60523).
