He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Kristen Pool (Peterson); his uncle Len Bykowski (Martine); and his pets, Wrigley, Linus and Emma.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Bykowski (Pool); his parents, Paul Bykowski and Geri Bykowski (Moro); his sister Michelle (Matt Daye); his father-in-law Jack Pool (Joan); his brothers-in-law, Matt Pool (Lauren) and Eric Pool (Phoenix); his aunt Ruth Netrasa (Glen); his uncles, Mark Moro, Phil Bykowski and Ray Bykowski; his nieces and nephews, Miranda Daye, Megan Daye, Jackson Pool and Allison Pool; and his pets, Trooper, Harley and Lucy.

I had the rare privilege of attending St. Francis of Rome in Cicero with him in K-1st Grade, then not seeing him again til High School at Crystal Lake South. I was also in the Happening in Christianity Retreat team with him, and will never forget his humor or the mark he made on my life.
