We announce the death of Lisa Hlavin Bernhard (Yorkville, Illinois), who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 65. Lisa will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Lisa’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Hlavin and Anne Hlavin; and her grandson Matthew. She is survived by: her husband Gary Bernhard; her children, Michael Bernhard (Abigail), Jennifer Waesco (Sean), Mark Bernhard and Cindy Bernhard; and her brothers, Bob Hlavin and Bill Hlavin.
A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (406 Walnut St, Yorkville, IL 60560).
