He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerdell Evans and Virginia Evans (Blum); and his sister Carolyn Evans. He is survived by: his wife Anita Evans of Yorkville, IL; his sons, John Evans (Jennifer) of Oswego, IL and Jim Evans of Yorkville, IL; and his grandchildren, River Evans, Brooklyn Evans, Easton Evans and Savannah Evans.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home - Yorkville (1617 N Bridge St, Yorkville, IL 60560). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (1617 N Bridge St, Yorkville, IL 60560).
