He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard W. Christy Jr. and Dorothy Virginia Christy (Payne); his brothers, Howard Christy III and Carl Crocker; his parents-in-law, Stanley Glenski and June Glenski; and his brother-in-law Mike Summers.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Christy; his children, Lorri Dee Williford (Wayne) of Benton and Erick Shawn Christy (Tanya) of Orient; his grandchildren, Alyxandria Good (Michael) of Thompsonville, Samantha Williford of Benton and Heather Rich (Tim) of Marion; his great grandchildren, Kiersten Good and Kaiden Good; his siblings, Jan Christy (Connie) of Carterville and Susan Summers of Sheller; his close friend Dan Cutter of Benton; and his great-granddog Howdy Marie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
