He is survived by: his wife Margaret Susan Townsend of Zeigler; his children, James William Townsend of Dallas, TX and Beth Ann Townsend (Eric Schnyder) of Fenton, MO; his siblings, Moria Benard (Gary) of Coello, Pam Bundalo (David) of Crown Point, IN and Randy Travis (Kelly) of Valparaiso, IN; his brother-in-law John M. Tatar (Terese Mayo) of Zeigler; and his stepfather Brooks Travis of Crown Point, IN.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
