We bid farewell to Ruby Ann Maldonado of Zeigler, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Ruby Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Goldie L. Short and Davis; her mother-in-law Maria Maldonado; and her siblings-in-law, Arthur Horton, Joe Maldonado and Hilda Maldonado.
She is survived by: her stepfather Harold Glen Short; her husband Louis Maldonado of Zeigler; her children, Randy Raynor (Cindy) of Cleburne, Terry Raynor (Carol) of Christopher, Jerry Raynor (Lorianne) of Marion and Patricia Maldonado of Zeigler; her grandchildren, Derek Raynor (Brittany), Daryl Raynor, Nathan Raynor, Amanda Procise (Chris), Mercedez Maldonado, Ryan Francis, Jennifer Pulley (Greg) and Chad Francis (Brianna); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Jenson, Issac, Caden, Slade, Bryson, Isiah, Noah, Emerson, Evan, Addison, Danilee, Grant and Hayden; and her sister Glenda Horton of Christopher. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zeigler Cemetery.
