He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Lenzen (Roman) and Gerald Clinton; his former wife Marilyn Cox; his brother Roger Cox; and his stepdaughter Susie Reese.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Cox, Cindy Cox and Virginia Paulsen (Christopher); and his stepsons, Mark Selner and Jerry Smith.
