With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce L. Frederick of Zion, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 95. In the vast expanse of eternity, Joyce shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joyce farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lamon B. Frederick; her daughter G. Renee Gray; her brothers, Edward and James Middleton; and her parents, Elgen Middleton and Bessie Middleton.
She is survived by: her daughter Marcia Wallace (Michael) of Albuquerque, NM; her grandchildren, Benjamin Wallace of Brooklyn, NY, Andrew Wallace of Denver, CO, David Gray and Geneva Mayoh (Shawn); and her daughter Jamie of Kenosha, WI..
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olivet Memorial Park (1436 Kenosha Rd, Zion, IL 60099).
