Ronald Parks Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Ronald Parks of Zion, Illinois, born in Booneville, Mississippi. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Parks and Nell Parks. He is survived by : his wife Gloria Parks; his children, Sandra Davis (Howard), Shera Smith (Chuck), Joel Parks, Richard Krause (Valerie) and Gretchen Hutter (Chris); his grandchildren, Amanda Harris, Elizabeth Davis, Matthew Davis, Abigail Smith, Charlie Smith, Autumn Palacz, Stephanie Deal, Landon Parks, Nathon Parks, Anthony Krause, Sam Krause, Ben Krause and Kayla Hutter; and his brothers, Rick Parks (Cindy), Philip Parks (James) and Michael Parks. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Congdon Funeral Home (3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mt Olivet Memorial Park (1436 Kenosha Rd, Zion, IL 60099).
