In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ruth leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ruth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Sanders and Ruby Sanders; her husband Earl Glaspie; and her parents-in-law, James and Mary Glaspie.
She is survived by: her children, Timmie Sanders of Zion, IL, Terrance Sanders of Terry, Jackie Lynn Thompson (Byron) of Zion, IL and Bronica Chambliss (Donald) of Zion, IL; her brother George Sanders (Lula) of Jackson; and her sister-in-law Gloria Lewis-Long (Ed) of Waukegan, IL. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and bonus grandchildren, 9 God Children, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; especially her special friends.
