He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeb Fortner and Ruby Fortner; his stepfather Ira Jury; his sister Patricia Myers; his nephews, Tony Knox and Randy Streblow Jr.; his in-laws, Irv, Erna Schaefer, Larry and Dorothy Streblow; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Streblow, Susan Schaefer and Cathy Streblow.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Streblow; his son Dusty; his grandson Landyn; his sister Linda Carol Knox (Larry); his sister-in-law Mary Jo Townsend (Schaefer); his stepsister DeeMoan Haile (Dan); his sibling's children, Shawn Hill (Darryl), Kristine Streblow, Meredith Smith, Andy Myers (Jennifer) and Clint Pushee (Angela); his cousin Larry Beard (Karen); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sadie Myers, Danielle Hinton, Chelsea Miller (Chad), Rachel Ashcraft, Taylor Knox, Brandon Ashcraft (Kristi), Josh Ashcraft, Nicholas Ashcraft, Ethan Knox, Logan Knox, Mitchell Horton and Kellen Polk. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Congdon & Co Funeral Directors (3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Congdon Funeral Home (3012 Sheridan Rd, Zion, IL 60099).
