He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward E. Witt and Eliza Ann Witt (Whiteman); his brother William H. Witt; and his sister-in-law Barbara Witt (Yount). He is survived by: his nephews, Bryan Witt and Timothy Witt; his niece Crystal Inman; his great-nieces, Maggie and Melodie Inman; and his great-nephew Israel Witt.
