He is survived by: his wife Sonya Morgan of Akron; his children, Kimberly Morgan-Gerdon (Jason Carrier) of Northern Virginia and Barry Morgan (Xiaolu Hu) of Rancho Cucamonga, California; his grandchildren, Morgan Gerdon, Paul Gerdon and Noah Morgan; his great grandchild Mason Fetchet; his stepchildren, Hope Smothermon, Lawrence Nevius, Faith Zimmerman and Charity Wattley; and his siblings, Patty Johnston and Ronald Morgan. He is also survived by 7 step grandchildren; 1 step great grandson.
