Charles Coplen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Coplen of Akron, Indiana, who passed away on September 18, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard W. Coplen and Marietta I. Coplen (Smith); and his sister Pat Kistler. He is survived by: his wife Antionette "Toni" Reed of Akron, IN; his daughters, Kimberly Martin (Ed) of Akron, IN, Kelly Koser (Kenny) of Akron, IN, Kerri Warren (Jack) of Silver Lake, IN and Kristi Coplen of Mentone, IN; and his sisters, Martha Peterson of Rochester, IN and Nancy Derck of Antwerp, OH.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Earl-Love Funeral Home (811 E Rochester St, Akron, IN 46910). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
