She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin J. Kistler and Florence Bell Kistler (Smith); her husband Chuck; her son Charles Leon Crippen; her siblings, Manford, Delbert, Calvin and Frieda Colby; and her sons-in-law, David Hurst and Bob Sutton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen Sutton of Rochester and Lorie Hurst of Rochester; and her grandchildren, Kenneth (Michele Hurst), William (Kimberly Hurst), Terry (Trista Hurst), Rob (Laura Sutton) and Amy (T. J. Conrad). She is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home (305 W Rochester St, Akron, IN 46910). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Gideon's International and Bethlehem Baptist Church.
