She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Issac and Anna Lou Damron (Stanley); her significant other Charles Verdon Paul; and her sister Lenora Plothow. She is survived by: her siblings, John Damron (Joyce), Bob Damron (Diane), David Damron, Michael Damron and Kathy Ritter; her children, Diane K. (Brian Engel) of Peru and Stephen (Evey Paul) of Mexico, Ind.; her grandchildren, Shane McNeeley (Dana), Jacqueline Prior (Justin), Jessica Hoffman (Damon), Grace Ireland (Andrew) and Katelynn Ali (Mortahda); and her great grandchildren, Inez Louise, Owen, Wrenley, Quilynn, Baker, Blakely and Yasmine.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home (305 W Rochester St, Akron, IN 46910). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations can be made in her memory to the North Miami Elementary School.
