He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence L. Tinkey and Cleo A. Tinkey (Jones); and his siblings, Peggy (Garwin Eaton), Shirley (Larry Polk), Richard John and Norman (Rozella Tinkey).
He is survived by: his wife Linda Tinkey of Akron; and his children, Brett (Lori Tinkey) of St. Joseph, David (Paula Spolski) of Claypool and Lichelle (Jeff Moyer) of Harrisburg, PA. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren; and a Great Grandson.
Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Akron United Methodist Church, Beaver Dam Church - memo to Wheels on Fire to assist the community members who are fighting cancer, or Akron Lions Club.
