With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rozella M. Tinkey of Akron, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred J. Holloway and Vera G. Holloway (Stahly); her husband Norman; her daughter Lana Bowser; her siblings, Pauline (Kenneth Ryman), Betty (Richard Meredith), Arlene (Gerald Gearhart), Wade (Velma Holloway), Carlyle (Wilma Holloway) and Terry Weed; her great grandchild Prim Ramsey; and her siblings-in-law, Richard John Tinkey, Peggy (Garwin Eaton) and Shirley (Larry Polk).
She is survived by: her children, Tana M. Tinkey and Byron (Christine); her son-in-law Fred Bowser of Akron; her grandchildren, Brent (Aryn Bowser), Alyssa (Travis Ramsey), Le'Erick (Alexandra Bowser) and Jonathan L. Tinkey; her great grandchildren, Dixie (Cody), Benjamin, Haley, Maison, Ella, Braiker and Abbygaile; and her brother-in-law Merl (Linda Tinkey) of Akron.
Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Akron Church of the Brethren.
