He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Shelly Hayes and Lula Blevins; his half-brother Ted Hayes; and his grandson Vincent Kindt. He is survived by: his wife Susan Adams Hayes; his brothers, Lenny Hayes and Michael Hayes; and his children, Matthew Hayes (Jennifer), Allison Kindt (Joseph), Morgan Thomas (James), Madison Holt (Corey) and Creighton Hayes (Chantel). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; extended family members; and many friends.
