Gates (Albany, Indiana), born in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on May 20, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Lysa's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Lysa has bequeathed us. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Barnes and Nikki Barnes. She is survived by: her husband Gary A. Gates; her son Matthew Munson; her brother Kenny Barnes; her sister-in-law Melissa Mumbower; her grandson Allen Munson; and her pet Tucker. She is also survived by 5 nieces & nephews; 1 great-niece, 1 great-nephew.
