Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Maralene Giddings (Albany, Indiana), born in New Castle, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 73, on February 8, 2026. Though Maralene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maralene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Giddings and Phyllis Giddings (Keener); and her sister Patricia Ann Giddings. She is survived by: her sons, Tom Dornberger and David Dornberger; and her sisters, Yvonne Giddings of Toledo, OH and Anita Giddings. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9, great-grandchildren, and 3 nieces.
