He was predeceased by: his daughter Lucinda C. Nelson; and his sisters, Charlotte, Janice and Marsha. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Philip Jr. "Butch" (Ginger), Jeff (Lisa) and Jodi Buckley; and his grandchildren, Mindi, Jennifer, Kristina, Devin, Lauren, Emma, Brianna and Autumn.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Meacham Funeral Service (648 W State St, Albany, IN 47320). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to a charity in research of dementia and/or Alzheimer's related illnesses.
