She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Carpenter and Phyllis Carpenter (Krieger); her husband Harold Elser; her stepfather Dan Ferguson; her brother Walter Carpenter; and her grandsons, Keith Krueckeberg and Josh Resler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Penny Krueckeberg (Donald), Julie Resler (Kert), Jodi Hedke (Dan) and Missy Knafel (Todd); her siblings, Helen Stienbarger (DeWayne), Tom Ferguson, Dan Ferguson (Phyllis) and Richard Ferguson (Nila); her sister-in-law Jeanie Brown; and her grandchildren, Danny, Faith Resler, Kaitlyn, Briana McFarlane, Elijah Hedke, Morgan Alwine (Nick) and Keegan Knafel.
Memorials may be directed to the Albion Masonic Lodge or to the Pat Dyer Memorial Fund.
