We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2022, at the age of 69, Rachael Metz of Albion, Indiana, born in Hicksville, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl W. Sholl and Margaret L. Sholl (Mattingly); her husband Samuel W. Metz; her siblings, Randy Sholl, Jo Harmon and Connie Sidle; and her parents-in-law, Bobby and Flo Metz.
She is survived by : her children, Amy Jimenez (Pete) of Albion and Benjamin Metz (Teresa Smith) of Kendallville; her grandchildren, Kaitlin Shaffer (Michael) of Ligonier, Elliott Jimenez (Alexis Ford) of Albion, Logan of Kendallville and Audrey Metz of Kendallville; her siblings, Casey Rupp (Roger) of Edgerton, Marilyn Whitman (Bill) of Bryan, Cheryl Shuller (Junior) of Edon, Mary Stark (Lavon) of Bryan, Christine Cromwell of Fort Wayne, Jane Knox (Milo) of Hicksville, Loretta Kolby (Dave) of Bryan, Lorraine Gearig (Bob) of Montpelier, Ohio, Andy Sholl (Sandy) of Hicksville and Tom Sholl (Kim) of Edgerton; and her sisters-in-law, Karen Sholl of Edgerton and Linda Stayer (Ron) of Auburn, Indiana. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
