He was predeceased by: his parents, Benny S. Nowak and Jessie Mae Agnes Nowak (Howell); his nephew Eugene Czerwinski, Jr.; and his grandmother Bess Robinson. He is survived by: his children, Amanda Nowak (Keith Koscak) of Lake Orion, Michigan. and Benjamin Nowak (Samantha Wert) of Kendallville, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Calvin Rossman, Isabella Wert, Griffin Koscak, Rylee Nowak and Lorelei Nowak; his sister Judy Czerwinski (Gene) of Dyer, Indiana.; his niece Loretta Smith of Lowell, Indiana.; his great-niece Lauren Smith of Lowell, Indiana.; his great-nephew Clark Smith of Lowell, Indiana.; and the mother of his children Donna. He is also survived by two children and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hite Funeral Home (403 S Main St, Kendallville, IN 46755).
Preferred memorials can be made to the family for expenses.
