She is survived by: her children, John Elbert, Jr. (Gail) of Muncie and Sue Miller (Jerry) of Alexandria; and her grandchildren, John Garner (Penny), Rachelle Surface (Kris Weaver), Katie Abshire (Trevor), Natalie Harrison (Zach), Jessica Blanton (Randy), Brandon Chism (Alondra) and Danielle Chism. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
