Carl Beemer Obituary

We announce the death of Carl Beemer of Alexandria, Indiana, who passed away on October 13, 2026, at the age of 94. Carl will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl F. Beemer, and Beulah Beemer, Sr. (Ritter); his children, Jon Eric Beemer, Andrea Christine Beemer, Debra Mathew, Randy Beemer and Teresa Humphery; his granddaughter Shannon Gaddis; and his siblings, Jim Beemer, Phil Beemer and Opal Shepard.

He is survived by: his children, Tom Beemer, Joe Beemer, Kathy Summa (Neal) and Monica Fix; and his grandchildren, Lynn Toomey (Bob), Emily Cooper (Chad), Jill Scott (Erik), Jamie Ellis (Matt), Dustin Marshall, Brandy Stubblebine (Matt), Nichole Beemer, Lindsay Kramer (Derrick), Joshua Montgomery (Habi), Joseph Southard, Katie Morgan (Ethan), Coty Beemer, Kris Wedmore (Jake), Holly Alfano (Braden), Andrew Beemer (Abbie), Jacob Fix and Justin Fix. He is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whetsel Funeral Service (1503 S Park Ave, Alexandria, IN 46001). A rosary was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (820 W Madison St, Alexandria, IN 46001). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at 876 S Park Ave, Alexandria, IN 46001.
