We announce the death of Cary E. Sayre of Alexandria, Indiana, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 90. Cary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Peck and Geneva Peck (Brown); her husband Carl V. Sayre; and her brothers, Jerry Peck and Larry Peck.
She is survived by: her children, Don Vermillion (Tammy) of Noblesville, C. A. Sayre (Beth) of Terre Haute and Sara Wickensheimer (Clint) of Bakersfield.
