He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, David Wilson and Dorothy Showalter; his sons, David N. Showalter (Elaine), Mark Showalter, Joseph N. Showalter and Matt Showalter; and his brother Steve Showalter. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
