He was predeceased by: his parents, Terry "Jack" Beard and Mable Beard (Marsh). He is survived by: his wife Deanne Beard (Weaver); his daughters, Diana Sayre (Greg Kyle) of Alexandria and Chris Nelis (Wayne) of Greenwood; his sister Karen Prough (John) of Camarillo; his grandchildren, Drake Sayre (Claire), Makenzi "Kenzi" Humes (Zach), Madison Nelis and Andrew Nelis; his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Goodnight, Jaime Rinehart and Jerod Nelis; his great grandchildren, Reagan Sayre, Anson Sayre and Chase Humes; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Gabby, Vivian, Kassi Goodnight, Preston and Corinne Nelis; and his nieces and nephews, Steven Prough (Sarah), Greg Prough, Andrea Stafford (Joe) and Angela Anderson (Bill).
