She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlen Fenstermaker and Charlotte Cox Fenstermaker; her father-in-law Robert L. Smith; her husband Bob; and her grandchild Athony Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Lashawn McClain (Rob) of Amboy, Jerry Smith (Shelia) of Ft. Wayne and Kevin Smith (Julie) of Warsaw; and her grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Matthew Smith, Brittany Horner (Mike), Briana Tuterow (Zach), Sarah Barlow (Trent) and Chase Smith. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Laird-Eddy Funeral Home (201 N Main St, Amboy, IN 46911). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the Town of Amboy for the Park Fund.
