She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Sylvester and Reba Sylvester (Shultz); and her sister Vicki Carter. She is survived by: her husband James G. "Jimmy" Peterson of Anderson; her son Jason Emmons (Carrie) of Muncie; her brother Steve Sylvester (Becky) of Anderson; her grandchildren, Brittany Dupree of Florida, Kalie Emmons of Daleville, Jacob Emmons of Muncie and Carlie Emmons of Muncie; her great grandchild Ezekiel; her sibling's children, Josh Sylvester and Katie Sylvester; and her close friend Chris Winningham of Anderson.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Animal Protection League or the Madison County Humane Society.
