Barbara Scharnowske Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2026, at the age of 76, Barbara Scharnowske of Anderson, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Frossard and Gladys Frossard (Lewis); and her brother John Robert Frossard. She is survived by: her husband Bob; her daughters, Amy Newland, Laura Morris (Matthew) and Kristin Coyne (Raymond); her grandchildren, Ian, Trevor Newland, Barrett, Brendon Morris, Kara and Patrick Coyne; and her siblings, J. Michael Frossard, Julie Patterson (Ron), Nancy Brennan (Jerry), Joe Frossard (Michele) and Denise Roberts. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as many loving friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Book Hotel Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel (515 E 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (2801 Lincoln St, Anderson, IN 46016).
