She was predeceased by: her husband Timothy Benn Schaefer; her parents, Floyd Leroy Jr. and Hazel Marie Stamm; her sister Linda Chew; her granddaughter Kaitlyn Jean Schaefer; and her nephew Mike Moto.

She is survived by: her sons, Paul Schaefer (Anita), Trevor Schaefer (Mindy) and Todd Schaefer; her grandchildren, Alexis Dunkelberger (Ben), Rylan Schaefer (Cianna), Dylan Schaefer, Ryan Schaefer and Jaquelyn Schaefer (Dreyshawn); her great grandchildren, Amaya Schaefer, Araya Schaefer and Da'Kari Brown; and her siblings, Ruth Moto (Bill), Jerry Stamm (Brenda) and Verl Stamm. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
